We are thrilled to open UH Kids Club and look forward to serving you and your children again. Please be patient with us as we reopen UH Kids Club in phases with the continued goal of “Safety and Fun”!
Our plans are reviewed and approved by Dr. Robin Znidarsic, medical director of the fitness center. Here are answers to common questions about our reopening:
What are the hours of operation for UH Kids Club?

Is there a limit of children allowed in the room?
We allow 10 children in the room at a time. Reservations are requested and take priority over walk-ins. Click here for updated information on hours of operation and pricing.
How do I schedule a reservation/timeslot to bring my child to UH Kids Club?
Reservations will be taken starting 24 hours before your arrival time and must be made at least 3 hours before you arrive. Due to capacity restrictions in the room, no grace period will be given for late arrivals and your spot may be given away.
Please call UH Kids Club at 440-701-7518 to schedule your 1-hour or 2-hour timeslot. If no one answers, please leave a message including:
- Your name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
- Name(s) of children coming
- Age(s) of children coming
- Arrival time requested
- Dismissal time requested
You will receive a confirmation email within 4 hours when open. Voicemail will be checked during our normal hours of operation.
Will I be turned away if I don’t call ahead and schedule a time?
Walk-ins will not be turned away as long as we have room available. Reservations will always take priority over walk-ins.
Will my child be required to wear a mask while using UH Kids Club?
All children age 2 and older are required to wear isolation masks – also known as surgical or procedure masks – while in UH Kids Club.
Are non-members allowed to use UH Kids Club?
Yes. Non-members may use childcare services (maximum of 2 hours) while visiting the UH Brunner Sanden Deitrick Wellness Center. You must stay on the property. Our non-member price is $4/hour for children younger than 4 years, and $2.50/hour for children age 5 and older.
If my child is ill, can I still bring him/her to UH Kids Club?
Children who stayed home from school sick, are not feeling well, and/or are showing potential symptoms of COVID-19 will not be able to enter UH Kids Club.
Symptoms of COVID-19 can include:
- Temperature of 100 degrees or higher
- Must be fever-free for 24 hours without assistance of medication
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Loss of taste or smell
- Sore throat, congestion and runny nose
- Fatigue and muscle or body aches
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea
Are water bottles allowed in the room?
Yes, please bring a water bottle and label it with your child’s name. .
Is UH Kids Club staff enforcing social distancing?
Please understand that social distancing is difficult with young children. We will do our best to keep non-related children separated.
Will children be able to use the gymnasium to run and play?
Yes. We will go out and play if the gym is not in use by other programs.
Will Camps and the Rockwall be offered?
Yes, Camps and the Rockwall are open.
What are your cleaning procedures?
All children and staff must use hand sanitizer as they enter and exit the room.
All toys will be disinfected after each use. Staff will set aside items if unable to clean immediately. Any toy, book, puzzle or game that is unable to be cleaned will be temporarily removed from the room after use. We will thoroughly disinfect the entire room midday and at the end of each day.
Families must follow these new check-in and check-out procedures:
- Only one family at the UH Kids Club desk at a time. Others must wait in the lobby.
- Staff member will sign in the family, collect completed forms and pass out tags.
- Children will use hand sanitizer
- Parents will take coats and other belongings with them
- Parents must return to pick up the children within the allotted pre-registered 1-hour or 2-hour time frame. No grace period will be give for late pick-ups before the next full hour is charged.
